The Nancy Blackett Trust, owner and preserver of Arthur Ransome’s favourite yacht, has relaunched its website in time for the new season.
New features include the facilities to donate and join online, a contact form, profiles of selected significant people involved with the Trust and a new collection of photographic albums, all presented in a new smart and contemporary style. Most of the site should now also be accessible on mobile phones.
News can now be subscribed to by e-mail in addition to the regular newsreader feed, or can be followed on Twitter. The Nancy Blackett Trust can also be followed on Facebook. Interesting posts and pages can also now be shared by e-mail or added to many social bookmarking sites.
This site is great. Apart from fascinating background information and details of future events we have been following the current Nancy cruise and will subsequently visit the Isle of Wight for the Round the Island Race.
