Yesterday, the crew made it as far as… the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. Strong winds prevented Nancy from continuing eastwards, although the latest forecasts indicate a possible window of opportunity on Sunday.
Nancy will also need to find a new (and cheaper) berth in the Solent area today, due to sudden high demand for berths, arising from today’s Round the Island Race.
