It has been a busy week for the Nancy Blackett Trust, with final preparations under way for the start of Nancy Blackett’s new season this weekend.

Following all the necessary repairs and maintenance tasks over the winter period, last Monday saw anti-fouling being applied, while on Tuesday she was taken out of the shed at Robertsons, Woodbridge, in readiness for her mast to be stepped.

Tomorrow (Friday) Nancy Blackett is due to be launched back into the water, ready for Saturday’s lift-in, following which she will make her way around to Woolverstone for the new season’s familiarisation cruise.
