Our best-seller this Christmas in the Nancy Blackett Shop has undoubtedly been Sophie Neville’s book “The Making of Swallows and Amazons” – based on her journal written when she played Titty in the 1974 film and lavishly illustrated with unofficial photographs.

In fact, we ran out of stock and had to reorder. Then the parcel got delayed when the delivery firm sent it on a slight detour (to Lancashire for some reason).

But now it’s arrived – if you’ve been waiting for your copy, apologies, but it’s now on its way. And we have plenty more copies in stock.
