Nancy Blackett is having a weekend of open days on 21st and 22nd May as part of the RYA’s Push the Boat Out event, which sees hundreds of sailing clubs and training centres up and down the country offering free or low cost ‘have a go’ sailing taster sessions and open days.

Nancy Blackett’s two open days will be held at the marina of the Royal Harwich Yacht Club at Woolverstone. Anyone interested in seeing aboard the Goblin from Arthur Ransome’s book “We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea” is welcome to come along between 10am and 4pm on either day.

These open days make a great family day out, and if you are interested in sailing this classic boat, you should  come along and find out about the opportunities to do so.

Woolverstone is on the B1456 Shotley road from Ipswich, and the postcode is IP9 1AT (see the map below). For more information please call 07979 721901.

If you would also like to help Nancy Blackett to last forever then please donate to our 20th Anniversary Appeal.
