Nancy Blackett tentatively departed yesterday evening for the Solent, and so far has made it to Titchmarsh Marina, via Shotley, the Walton Channel and the Twizzle, with conditions further out at sea remaining unpleasant.

Wth the current forecast being for the windy conditions to continue until at least Wednesday, the plan is to take the inshore route via Brightlingsea and Queenborough to Ramsgate, where the onward passage will be reviewed. Winds are currently forecast to ease off from mid-week.
