Last weekend saw a Swallows and Amazons Weekend hosted by Arnside Sailing Club, where visitors could sail in Peggy Blackett, a replica of Arthur Ransome’s dinghy Coch-y-bonddhu (Scarab in the books). The event was arranged by the Arthur Ransome Trust, and photos and a report of the weekend are below:
