Nancy Blackett reached Veere yesterday, motoring up and then sailing on Veerse Meer. The crew went to a 60th party with the Hammetts and had a nice meal in a local restaurant. Today, Nancy is in Middelburg for a crew changeover that should be completed by tomorrow evening.

The Nancy Blackett departed from Woodbridge late this morning, on her first trip of the 2011 season to Woolverstone, with Sarah Peay skippering. The weekend had seen her annual fitting-out, culminating in the fitting-out dinner yesterday evening, held this year in Ye Olde Bell and Steelyard.
