Nancy Blackett moored on a buoy at West Mersea last night, before receiving a good welcome from the local sailing club this morning. Earlier this evening she had almost reached the pier at Walton-on-the-Naze in a good south-easterly wind, and was expecting to arrive at Shotley by 7:30 pm. – Richard Wainwright
Last night, Nancy Blackett and her crew spent a wet night in Heybridge Basin, following an easy motor-sail down from Bradwell. This afternoon they planned to go on to West Mersea. – Richard Wainwright
Nancy Blackett headed for Brightlingsea on Tuesday, motoring with a light head-wind after a rainy night at Shotley. After spending another wet night on a pontoon, she was Blackwater-bound yesterday, again with not much wind. Skipper Richard Wainwright reported that all was well. – Richard Wainwright
