Nancy Blackett's voyage to Vlissingen in Holland, 75 years after Ransome's own trip, was delayed by 36 hours by both weather conditions, and the discovery on Sunday morning that a bolt holding the alternator to the engine had sheared off. Repairs however were quickly achieved on Monday, once Volspec at Woolverstone Marina were open for business.

So last night found Nancy tied up to Ha'penny Pier at Harwich, ready to catch the tide at 0300hrs this morning. Aboard were skipper Bryan Bonser, second skipper Adrian White, Andy Beck, and American Doug Faunt, taking leave from crewing HMS Bounty in the Baltic. Assuming Nancy caught the tide, she should arrive in Vlissingen (Flushing) late this evening. Further updates will be posted as soon as we have position details.
