The Summer edition of the Beaulieu River Newsletter mentions Nancy Blackett's visit there earlier this year. Nancy was berthed at Bucklers Hard at the end of May to support the Arthur Ransome Society's IAGM at nearby Brockenhurst.

"The Beaulieu River has seen a number of notable boats and rallies over the past few weeks including Nancy Blackett, Arthur Ransome’s boat which featured in his famous Swallows and Amazons series of books. Owned by the Nancy Blackett Trust, the boat was moored on the Beaulieu River at the end of May."
