Shooting starts this summer on the new film of "Swallows and Amazons", and the producers are now looking for boys and girls aged 6-13 to cast the parts of the Swallows – John, Susan, Titty and Roger – and the Amazons – Nancy and Peggy Blackett.
No previous acting experience is necessary, and no specific standard of sailing is required.
The casting is being undertaken by Dixie Chassay Casting for Harbour Pictures, which is co-producing the film with the BBC.

I love this book and hope that we will be able to see the movie here in Hungary. Paul, I'm 40 – but my 12 years old son finds very sad that he – an experienced sailor – does not speak enough English to participate in the film.
