On the third day of her first cruise since her relaunch, Nancy Blackett spent a day on the River Medway before continuing to next weekend’s Classic Boat Show at St Katharine Docks, London.
Having survived an overnight thunderstorm with heavy rain, Nancy Blackett’s crew saw some ropemaking at Chatham Historic Dockyard yesterday, before departing downriver back to the Isle of Sheppey. They arrived safely at a very windy Queenborough, amidst many sailing school boats, with the friendly face of Nancy Blackett Trust member Elaine greeting them on arrival.
Today Nancy Blackett has a very early start, her next port-of-call being much further up the Thames at Erith.
