The Nancy Blackett Trust will be joining in the ‘Robertsons Boatyard and Friends‘ event in Woodbridge this weekend as part of the Deben Summer Festival.
Come and visit the River Deben’s oldest working boatyard, which takes care of Nancy Blackett every year, and meet some of the Trust team who look after Nancy and find out how you can sail her.
Also on show are local artists including Claudia Myatt, Liane Day, Laura Davies. Sculptor Tom Moyes and photographer Ruth Leach will also be there, as well as pop-up musical entertainment, with sea shanties from The Rum Old Boys and other guests.
The International Boatbuilding Training College will be bringing along some of their students and lots of information and demonstrations about the courses they run.
There will also be delicious smoked brisket & pulled pork from Rolling Roads BBQ, a charity cake stall and other refreshments available – enjoy them all with a beautiful river view.
