Harwich’s annual Maritime Festival returns on Saturday 27th July, and Nancy Blackett will be there and open to visitors.

The Nancy Blackett Trust’s stall will also be present amongst over 50 traders, a programme of live entertainment and various ship- and water-based activities. The festival will take place between 11am and 6pm around the historic Harwich Town Quay and Ha’penny Pier, and is organised by the Harwich Haven Authority.

The weather forecast for Saturday 27th is currently breezy with showers, which may be welcome after this week’s mini-heatwave. Harwich is easily reached by road and rail, as well as by sea, and more details about the Festival may be found here.

If you can’t make it on the day, you may still be able to spot Nancy Blackett at the Ha’penny Pier on one of the HHA’s Live Stream Cameras.
