You can now listen to the short interview that Sophie Neville gave to BBC Radio Cumbria ahead of the Swallows and Amazons events held in the Lake District over this Spring Bank Holiday weekend.
Sophie spoke to Mike Zeller on Thursday 24th May about how, 45 years ago to the day, she was filming swimming scenes for the 1974 “Swallows and Amazons” film that required spending time in an icy cold Coniston Water, and then about the various events that were planned for the bank holiday weekend by the Arthur Ransome Society, of which she is President.
