With just a couple of days to go to our 80th Anniversary Marathon Reading of “We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea”, here’s the official programme for the day.
Starting at 9am on Saturday 21st, our readers include celebrities such as Griff Rhys Jones, Libby Purves and Sophie Neville. It all takes place at the Pin Mill Sailing Club, where Arthur Ransome was a member, in honour of the book’s 80th anniversary (it was first published November 1937).
Entry is free, and you can come and go as you please.
