“We Didn’t Mean To Go To Sea” 80th Anniversary Bookmark

The Nancy Blackett Trust has commissioned this Limited Edition Bookmark to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the publication of “We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea” in November 1937 – and the Marathon Reading next Saturday.

Each of the readers will be presented with one of these unique souvenirs – and you too can own one – pick it up at the reading (at Pin Mill Sailing Club from 9am), or buy it here, now.

And if you need a copy of “We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea” to go with it (whether hardback or paperback), that’s here, too.

The 80th Anniversary Marathon Reading is at the Pin Mill Sailing Club on Saturday 21st October, and includes celebrity readers such as Griff Rhys Jones, Libby Purves and Sophie Neville.

Entry is free, and you can come and go as you please.

If you are using social media on the day, please use the #pinmill hashtag.
