They spend the night at the Walton Backwaters and loved helming Nancy Blackett, the knot practice, and working the sails.

At the end of the weekend the Trust’s Simon Jackson gave Elizabeth Watson a Nancy Blackett “Grab a chance” mug, which now takes pride of place next to her Arthur Ransome book collection.

The Watsons thanked the Trust’s Phil Durnford, Simon Jackson and John Smith for giving up their bank holiday weekend and taking them out on Nancy Blackett, having really enjoyed the whole sailing experience.
