The start of Nancy Blackett’s fifth week in Holland was on the wet side, as crewman Tony Clarke writes…
“We ventured out of Middelburg in heavy drizzle up to the lock at Veere. and then onto the Veerse Meer West. We had lunch at VM100 (a visitor mooring) at west end of the Meer, by which time the clouds had mainly disappeared.
“In the afternoon, we did lots of sailing plus man-overboard training. Don’t worry, we were just rescuing a fender attached to a bucket! Then we returned to Veere where we will stay for the night.”
