An updated schedule of guest talks has been released for the Literary Lounge at the Arthur Ransome Pin Mill Jamboree taking place this Saturday (13th May).
The revised running order is as follows:
- 1:30pm – 2pm: Ransome, Reporter of the Russian Revolution by Paul Anderson, writer, journalist and lecturer at the University of Essex.
- 2:15pm – 2:45pm: Ransome and his Yachts by Peter Willis, President of the Nancy Blackett Trust.
- 3:15pm – 3:45pm: Ghosts in the Cabin: Arthur Ransome, Peter Duck and the Strong Winds Trilogy by Julia Jones, author and owner of Peter Duck.
- 4:15pm – 4:45pm: Adapting Arthur Ransome’s East Anglian stories for the screen by Sophie Neville, President of the Arthur Ransome Society.
- 5:00pm – 5:30pm: Professor Hugh Brogan, author of “The Life of Arthur Ransome”, in conversation.
All Literary Lounge guests will be speaking in the function room of the Pin Mill Sailing Club.
