Back by popular demand following its sell-out showing in April, the Nancy Blackett Trust is screening the 40th anniversary edition of “Swallows and Amazons” at the Riverside Cinema, Woodbridge, this Saturday (26th September).

Sophie Neville, who played the character of Titty, will make a personal appearance on stage and sign copies of her book “The Making of Swallows and Amazons”.

The Nancy Blackett yacht, once owned by the author Arthur Ransome, will be moored near The Riverside, while sailing dinghy from the film, Swallow, will be on show outside the theatre.

The screening starts at 3pm and tickets, costing £6, are available from the Riverside’s website, or by phone on 01394 382174.
