Swallows and Amazons 40th Anniversary Special Edition DVD

The Nancy Blackett Trust will present a special 40th anniversary charity screening of the classic “Swallows and Amazons” film in April, with a special on-stage appearance by Sophie Neville (who plays ‘Titty’ in the film), and who will also be signing copies of her book “The Making of Swallows & Amazons”.

Also on show will be the boat Swallow from the film, and Nancy Blackett herself will be moored nearby.

The screening will be at the Riverside Cinema, Woodbridge, Suffolk, on Sunday 19th April at 3pm.

Tickets cost £6, and are bookable by telephone on 01394 382174 or through the cinema’s website, where you can also find additional material, including a synopsis of the film.

There will also be exhibition at Woodbridge Library from 7th-18th April.
