Swallows and Amazons 40th Anniversary Special Edition DVD

To celebrate the fortieth anniversary and release of the restored 1974 “Swallows and Amazons” film, the Nancy Blackett Trust has teamed up with Vintage Books and Studiocanal to offer you the chance to win a bumper prize comprising:

• a year’s free membership of the Nancy Blackett Trust;
• a full set of Arthur Ransome Vintage Children’s Classics;
• a copy of the newly-released DVD of the film.

If you want to see the restored re-release of the film on the big screen, there are still opportunities to see it tomorrow (7th August) at the following cinemas:

• Roxy Cinema, Ulverston (2:30pm);
• Royalty Cinema, Bowness-on-Windermere (2:40pm).

The Kendal screening includes an Intro and Q&A with Sophie Neville, who played Titty in the film.
