Nancy Blackett and her crew have been kept fairly busy in the Solent during the past week. NBT member Rex Wade celebrated his birthday last Friday with a special trip across to the Folly Inn and back, and had a double treat with not one but two birthday cakes.

Although there was beastly weather at the weekend, the sailing trips planned were able to be rescheduled for Monday. Members Paul and Gill Gooderham had a very pleasant sail across to Cowes and moored on a pontoon not far from the Folly Inn on the Medina River for their picnic lunch.  The wind died completely that afternoon, and Southampton Water was like a millpond, and they motored back to the Hamble.

Nancy Blackett is currently in Yarmouth, with little sailing having taken place due to the prevailing calm conditions. However, there have been quite a large number of visitors aboard, a few new memberships taken, and good number of sales from the shop.

The crew intend to be sailing tomorrow as part of YOGAFF.
