The Nancy Blackett had a short sail from Newtown Creek yesterday to Cowes and spent the night on a pontoon at the Folly. Good beer was enjoyed in the pub, and then the crew motored back to Southampton Water, having a brief but good sail before taking her up the Hamble to the Mercury Marina for a change of crew.
It was sad to leave after a great week on a much-admired boat, but am looking forward to a future sail next month.
