The Nancy Blackett and her crew left Eastbourne on Friday and sailed to Brighton Marina. Leaving at 5:45AM on Saturday to catch the tide as far as possible, they motored across a glassy sea through the Looe Channel, but sailed the last part to Sparkes Marina in Chichester Harbour.

On Sunday, they sailed to the Hardway Sailing Club in Portsmouth Harbour. Monday saw a sail to Bembridge and a pontoon on the Duver Marina. Provisions were fetched the next morning after a bus ride to the village.

From Bembridge, they sailed across the Solent  to the Hamble and moored at Mercury Marina, and today they had a good sail to Newtown Creek, spending tonight on a buoy. Everybody is enjoying themselves, having eaten well on board, and great interest has been shown in the Nancy Blackett when she has been moored in publically accessible places.
