The popular theatrical adaptation of Arthur Ransome’s “We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea” returns to the stage this summer.
The critically acclaimed play is produced by the Ipswich-based touring theatre company Eastern Angles, and first premiered in Ipswich in July 2008.
Adapted by Nick Wood, it translates well to the stage and brings out the underlying humour of Ransome’s character treatment.
The play is being revived this summer with performances at the Hush House at Bentwaters Parks in Suffolk and at Nene Park in Peterborough during July.
Further details will be published when they are available.
